Even though I ’m not a automobile buff , oldtimer car show and exhibitions appeal me . One reason is hood ornaments — a distinctive aspect of each automobile that attractively mix art , intention and typography .
Hood ornaments and badgesmake the cars placeable , and in the golden decades , the XL , L , and 60s , these ornamentation were little masterpieces .
The following objet d’art were shoot at a Hungarian Oldtimer railway car exhibition in April , and include a mix of definitive American and Eastern and Western European machine ornaments . Which one do you like the most ? Dodge ’s and Pontiac ’s art art deco sculptures ? Volga or Chrysler ? Also please share your best-loved hood ornament in the discussion if you feel like !
