The Capital One information break is believed to have debunk the in person identifiable information of more than100 million customersin both the U.S. and Canada . A memo filed Tuesday in the lead of a custody hearing alleged that “ multiple terabytes of data ” were steal by Thompson from oodles of organizations , some of which may have also included personally identifiable information . The filing state the specific types of information and the various organization that were infract are still being look into .
“ The grounds recovered from Thompson ’s mansion paint a picture that Thompson nose into servers operated , rented , or contracted by over 30 companies , educational asylum , and other entities , ” the filing claims . “ Although not all of those intrusions call for the theft of personal identifying data , it seem likely that a number of the trespass did . ”
