This is a very simple and brilliant visual image of all planets have a go at it to humankind as of June 2012 . There are 786 , including the eight in our Solar System , which is demonstrate in the gray square in the center .
First , it ’s really awesome that we have detected so many already . The identification number is growing really fast now , but presently the physical body will really start explode . What ’s better : we are now contract good at detecting tiny planets likeour Pale Blue Dot .

But what is really mindblowing is that these are just an minute fraction of all the planets that are out there . Think about it : our galaxy alone contains a minimum of 100 billion planets . Of those , most are small planets like ours : 10 billion terrestrial planets . Ten . Billion .
The fact is that , statistically , every principal would have at least one planet , according to the most recent study . And there are about 500 billion galaxies in the world . It really boggles the judgment .
Now imagine the slice of newspaper needed to put all these planet at this scale . It would credibly take over the intact solar system .

Clearly , thepossibility of alien lifespan is now almost impossible to refuse . Another different matter is if it we are condemned never to contact whoever is out there .

Hopefully , humankind will reach the star one dayand we will say “ hello ” to someone all dissimilar than ourselves .
