Star Wars : The Last Jedi might have ended with Rey and Finn hugging it out after spending the entire movie apart , but I ’ve remained afraid that something would drive them aside again . Luckily , we can all remain light . John Boyega has confirmed that the ill-affected duo are stuck like gum from here on out .
talk atAwesome Conin Washington , DC , Boyega shared that he and Daisy Ridley shared a “ squee ! ” consequence after Ridley get word that Star Wars : Episode IX director J.J. Abrams was n’t splitting them up again . ( Of course , get me inquire what else Abrams has revealed to Ridley — but as we ’ve learned , she ’s alocked boxwhen it come to spoiler . Mostly . )
“ I have n’t scan the book for Episode IX . But Daisy did shoot me a text saying , “ Oh my gosh , I just heard from J.J. , and we ’re back together . That ’s what I ’m really excited about , is Finn and Rey back together again , ” Boyega said .
Though the film which ultimately kept them separated ( almost only ) , Finn asked about Rey directly after waking up and toward the goal of the film , Rey asked Chewie to pass along a message to him as she was head off on a very grievous mission . Given how Boyega and Ridley ’s characters spent most of The Force Awakens together , with the worker bonding as a result , I ’m sure they ’re both thrilled to be work together again .
Now , all we postulate is to bring Poe ( Oscar Issac ) back in to the dynamic trio . Because then I ’d be allowed to use this GIF with every single Star Wars Emily Post for the rest of clip . Hey bosses , that ’s cool , good ?
