She wrote in the video caption, “I know a lot of ya do r watch the news so I’m letting ya know s— getting real …..I ain’t going to say nothing much tho I don’t want mofos to off me…..ANYWAYS TWERK VIDEO OUT NOW.”
In a separate post, Cardi went on tell her followers that while “it’s a little boring to watch the news,” it’simportant to pay attention.
“I know it’s a little boring to watch the news but it won’t kill ya to visit some IG pages of people that talk about what’s going on in our community like @shaunking@tamikadmallory and shiiieeett sometimes uncle snoop and Charlamgne be saying some s— that goes over ya heads .PAY ATTENTION !!! This can go on for months and it will affect our homes and Country,” she added.
The government closed on Dec. 22 in the wake of Trump’s call for funding for a proposed southern border wall.
On Saturday, day 29 of the shutdown, Trumpsuggested a compromise, proposing a new bill that would offer temporary protection for some undocumented immigrants in exchange for $5.7 billion in wall funding.
In a statement that was issued before Trump delivered his compromise on-air, Speaker of the HouseNancy Pelosirejected his proposal, calling it a “non-starter.”
It currently remains unclear how or when the shutdown will end.
