What they find on this mystery planet is even MORE Giger concept art , from Alien ! Behold the egg cathedral — earlier planned to make an show in Alien , but cut due to various reasons . Maybe even the whole backstory to the Xenomorphs , which would make sensation as it ’s rumored that this is what Prometheus is about as well ( sort of ) .

OMINOUS .
Meanwhile , back on the ship Janek ( Idris Elba ) and the boss lady Meredith Vickers ( Charlize Theron ) monitor the probe the squad released . No surprise here , there ’s lifespan in this beat satellite somewhere !
Cue “ all snake pit breaking free . ” Panicked masses originate freak out and David the android makes us all crap out trouser by but smile . There is nothing good to come of that smile . Clearly the automaton is fascinate by these minuscule moving bits .
In fact , David ’s SO FASCINATED , he brings a few specimens back to the ship . We do n’t know if this particular specimen is directly related to the little dancing spot — but the canister David is pull up the creature out of does see like the same container the things were dance on top of . Remember he is the very last person in the house trailer we see who says , “ Big affair have minor get-go . ” Perhaps he was talking about the wriggle dirt ball that infect one crew appendage ’s eye . Is there new life breeding inside humans , sprightliness that needed to be disturbed to spring up ? Life that never should have been disturb ?
call back , Weyland - Yutani was always bewitch by the deadly beauty of the Xenomorph . It ’s the perfect arm . Perhaps this death admiration was instilled in their robot David as well .

Is this the small kickoff David was referring to ? A wight makes itself at home in Holloway ’s middle .
Besides the dancing bits and rock canisters that fascinate David , there ’s this slime . Slime that come along later on on , inside people ’s helmets and appear to be mutate bunch extremity into demented creatures .
While we roll in the hay this is a stab in the dark , we consider the guck and the wormy eye fauna are instantly related to whatever wiggly pink ooze beast show up in the UK trailer and rips into someone ’s sleeve . Meanwhile in the US trailer , someone screams “ CUT IT OFF , CUT IT OFF , CUT IT OFF . ” Did they mean their own sleeve ?
David stay on to be fascinated , but now on a Global scale of measurement .
OK now we ’re going out of rescript — while everything is go to hell and the jumbo round ship develop to take off ( and then quickly crash ) a sight of really make out up stuff is happening to Shaw . Specifically , in this medical fuel pod . We consider this to be Shaw for various reason . primarily because she ’s shown in the same underwear with the same bruises . And the black splotches on her legs and tweed , seem to match the same splotches inside the medical pod . This could be blood ( as the Bolshevik in descent is often turned a bit black to trick the censors ) — or it could be some sort of foreign by-product . Look carefully , you may see something at her header , held down by prong .
See the creature wiggle ?
Look even nearer . Could this be Prometheus ’ version of the classic “ face hugger ” ? Is fauna being implanted inside Shaw , or removed ? We ’re not indisputable if there ’s a real need for Shaw to have a swain on board , plus there was that sexual activity scene hinted at in the early trailer . Our guess ? She has gender with her boyfriend , after he contracts the wiggly louse eye . He then drop dead on whatever he has to her .
The between the leg shot inside the medical pod only seems to suggest stronger that something is wrong inside show , it reckon like it ’s taking aim between Shaw ’s legs , even if the activity seems to be happen by her head , that ’s a moneyed television camera angle .
ANOTHER THEORY : / Over atPrometheus Movie , a circumstances of common people reckon David is behind Shaw ’s aesculapian fuel pod capture . And that she is n’t bring forth an alien taken out of her , rather , put in her . It ’s a first contemporaries Face Hugger , which would explain why it ’s by her head teacher ! But if David did n’t do it , how did Shaw get there ? How did she get in this seedpod she clearly is struggling to get out of ? Another opening , we blame this guy .

And that is a group of crowd members in space suits , with throttle , seemingly protect another hunched over figure in a blank courtship . Now we can see David understandably trying to avail this hunched material body . Could this be the same man we saw in a wheelchair that David was kneeling before ? The same figure that Shaw stumbled onto half naked , presumably after her weird alien surgery ?
Could this beGuy Pearce , as Peter Weyland?Is that why the fictional TedTalk was revealed , to do origin story fundament for this monster ? Is this that posterior motive ? Perhaps .
