While J.J. Abrams ’ Star Trek movie is n’t prove any footage at Comic - Con , someone over at Ai n’t It Cool News take to have seen a couple of blank space scenes from the movie , including special effects in progress . The scenes , as account , give a hint as to how the Enterprise bridge will look , but also how the warp effect will come across . Plus there are some hints about the picture show ’s overall plot . Consider this a undivided Saturday sunrise spoiler . Ai n’t It Cool ’s source says the Enterprise bridgework has a big viewscreen than the original serial version , and it ’s closer to the captain ’s chair and the forward consoles . The Enterprise escorts some freighters tow giant cargo crates at warp speed , and on the bridge , the viewscreen shows a streaky warp consequence with some rainbow tinges , not unlike Star Trek : The Motion Picture ’s warp force . Everyone on the nosepiece is in a cadet ’s uniform except the skipper ( Pike , I presume ) , who ’s in his XXX or forty . So is this a preparation example or something ? And then some bad Guy assault , smash the unshielded freighters and destroying the U.S.S. Yorktown , which is a Constitution grade ship . We see the Yorktown with its nacelle and top one-half of its junior-grade Isaac Hull trashed , with smoke coming out . And then a human being - looking bad guy wire appears on the viewscreen . In the second scene , the captain exchanges verbal jabs with the defective guy rope , whose ship is pointy with three nacelles . The Enterprise launches a huge photon shooter , twice the size of it of the original serial publication versions . And then fire phasers , which are yellowy - orangish and nominate the bad cat ’s ship ( the Sunfire ? ) shake . The sorry guy fires photon torpedos back , and both ships ’ shell are twinkle electric white , and cadets are being fling everywhere on the endeavor .
