So much as name the name Bill Gates around a Mac - olyte , and you ’re promised to get 10 minutes of intolerable scream that will admit the words " devil " and " nerdy small earthnut . " Same vitriol goes the other way of life around , too , except substitute the mention to : " pompous tool " and " substance - less prick . "
Me , I do n’t have a horse in the race . I prefer Macs and my iPod gives me the tinglies – but Bill Gates certainly does some dainty stuff for the pitiable . Ca n’t blame a valet de chambre for that . I ’m more concerned in the human drama between the two – their differences in personality and approach ; how their rivalry sparks ( and sometimes hinders ) large - plate technical progress ; what choose one to the other says about you , etc etc . It ’s voluptuous material that made for akinda watchable Noah Wyle flick … no promiscuous exploit .
This first video is from 1984 , at a Macintosh entry . Two thing to watch for : 1 ) Jobs ' smuggitudein extremis(not hard to pick up on ) , and 2 ) the bunch ’s going absolutely aper - poop at the four minute scratch .
