TheDon’t Be Tardystar posted a selfie with daughter Brielle Biermann, 22, showing off long, dark brunette locks and revealing that the new hue is actually her natural hair color.
“Fun facts: I had dark hair almost black until I was about 15, that’s when I started coloring it,” Zolciak-Biermann captioned the photo. “My mom is a hairdresser so I was always playing around with color. I went blonder and blonder and have never looked back!”
She wrote that she doesn’t miss having her darker strands, but “would take it over all my gray now any day 😩🙈.”
It doesn’t appear her brunette do is permanent (she was back to her lighter hue on a recent Instagram Story); instead, she appears to have switched to her natural look with the help of a wig or Instagram filter.
Ever since her start on theReal Housewives of Atlanta, Zolciak-Biermann has notoriously always rocked her platinum Barbie blonde hue thanks to her iconic wig collection. (Her wig is such afocal point of her look, iteven has its own Instagram account!)
Zolciak-Biermann has previously said that her natural hair is now about 75 percent gray, so she colors it blonde every four weeks despite regularly wearing wigs. Last year, sheshowed off her freshly-dyed strands on Instagram styled in a high top knot.
“If I’m not filming (and even then I don’t) I don’t wear a wig I run around with my own hair!” Zolciak Biermann wrote on Instagram. “Wigs are just easier and I love the versatility! MY OWN WIG LINE IS COMING VERY SOON! Stay tuned… ❤️ i can’t wait! (Just took this pic I got my hair colored yesterday) 😝.”
The star has also been candid about her plastic surgery, including her botched lip injections,tummy tuckandrecently breast reduction surgery.
In September 2018 she opened up about her decision to go down a few cup sizes. “My back was hurting me and it wasn’t proportionate,” she said on theHouse of Kimpodcast. “I almost felt like I was hunching my back a lot… to not really show them off.”
“It’s not my body. I don’t have to walk in it every day… but obviously, the majority rule is you,” he told Kim.
