Julia Garner is taking over Netflix, one show at a time.
Over the past five years, the 28-year-old actress has received critical acclaim for her role as Ruth Langmore on Netflix’sOzarkalongsideJason Batemanand Laura Linney.
Althoughthe show is coming to an endwith its fourth and final season — withpart one currently on Netflixand part two premiering later this year — this certainly won’t be the last we’llsee of Garner on the streaming platform.
She also stars inShonda Rhimes' new seriesInventing Anna, which premiered on Feb. 11. Based on theNew Yorkmagazine article about Anna Sorokin, who pretended to bea wealthy German heiress under the name Anna Delvey, the series is sure to be one of Garner’s biggest roles yet.

She later did student films at Columbia University, where she ended up making a connection with someone working in a casting office for Susan Shopmaker.

“She’s actually really sweet,” Garner said about her interaction with Delvey at Albion Correctional Facility in New York. “She was extremely charming. She’s very gentle. But then her voice gets less soft-spoken when she wants something.”
